The Peer Services Coordinator oversees the peer vocational programs, including the peer counselor training program. Responsibilities include hiring, training of peers, scheduling, budgeting and group material development. The individual also oversees the case manager assigned to the YMCA supported housing program, and is a liaison to that program for development and training. The PSC provides consultation to the department on issues concerning peer staff within various programs, elevates consumer feedback to the department administration, maintains a peer services speaker’s bureau and assists in department-wide training initiatives. The PSC also represents Ellis and the department in various community forums.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
MSW or Master’s degree in a related human services field required.

Salary Range: $25.72-$38.57/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
