Responsibilities Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural trainingWashes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policiesCleans and sanitizes throughout shiftMaintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etcPerform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification dutiesPrepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

                  

Qualifications Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shiftCan reach, bend, stoopCan immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutionsAbility to speak, read and write EnglishAble to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezersWork in damp, high temperature environment  indoors and minimally outdoorsWork safely with hot plates, pots, pansWork safely with sharp knives and utensilsSupport fellow employees as neededComplete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes           Benefits Five (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days OffPaid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten YearsChristmas Bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay)Health Insurance – Medical & Dental Programs Available 401K Plan – Immediate Eligibility.
