We are seeking a Pentaho Integration Programmer to join our CGI team!
This career opportunity is located in Henderson, NV; however a hyrbid working model is acceptable. There may be some travel, 25% or less, required within the US.
Looking for someone who appreciates working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and who would enjoy being part of a growing team implementing mission-critical solutions for our Government clients.
Responsible for managing all aspects of integrations between systems, including designing, developing, and testing integrations between a core ERP system and various external systems.
This individual will have experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions, extracting, transforming, and loading relevant data between internal applications and external systems.
Need to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously and be able to communicate with stakeholders and report risk and status to team lead or manager.

How you'll make an impact
--Meet with stakeholders to gather and document system interface requirements
--Design, develop, unit test and system test interfaces using ETL tools such as Pentaho Data Integrator, Pervasive/Actian Data Integrator, and shell scripts
--Manage software version control of work products
--Manage to the project plan and communicate software delivery schedules
--Trouble shoot issues with the implementation of the solution
--Assist in the final implementation and go-live activities planning
--Become proficient in CGI Advantage ERP by working with the CGI product team and formal / informal training
--Provide timely and informative status to the team lead
What you'll bring
2-4 years experience as a Pentaho Integration Programmer
-- Prior experience with Pentaho Data Integrator, Kettle, Spoon
--Proficient with SQL
--Experience with DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)
--Understanding of ETL and similar concepts
--Familiarity with Unix environments (RHEL, AIX)
--Familiarity with Windows Server environments
--Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, bsh, ksh)
• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively to gather and document requirements, design system enhancements, drive user feedback, and conduct quality assurance testing through completion of project
• Write system documentation, including developer guides, design specifications, and topic papers
• Create test scripts based on business requirements
• Perform system testing using test scripts to ensure requirements are met
• Execute regression testing scripts
• Support the application help desk responding to end-user calls
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
