People Analytics and Strategy Manager
About the Job As the People Analytics and Strategy Manager, you will be a key driver in shaping our organization’s talent strategy through data-driven insights and analytics. This role will see you identifying critical trends in our workforce, such as attrition by different demographics, and partnering with People Business Partners to inform decisions on talent density, spans and layers, and DEI initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to present and discuss the results of your analyses with leaders at all levels, bringing fact-based insights to hard problems. You will also regularly collaborate with People Operations, Finance, Data Engineering and IT teams on improving our data governance and enhancing our analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal in enabling our teams to be more productive and engaged through strategic initiatives. What You'll Accomplish Identify trends in workforce data: Analyze and uncover trends in attrition across different demographics to inform retention strategies and improve employee satisfaction. Be a thought partner: Collaborate with People Business Partners to provide data-driven insights that influence decisions on talent density, organizational design (spans and layers), and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Lead strategic initiatives: Lead or contribute to strategic projects that enhance team productivity and empower our organization to move faster with informed decisions. Enable data-driven decision-making: Present, explain, and discuss the results of your analyses concisely and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring data-driven decisions are at the core of our people strategy. Improve data governance: Work closely with Data Engineering, IT and Systems teams to enhance data governance and improve the quality and capabilities of our people analytics data. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline. 4+ years of experience in people analytics, business analytics, or a similar role. Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries for data extraction and analysis. Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Mode, Looker, or similar platforms. Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Analytics, Business or a related field. Experience working with HRIS systems and integrating data from multiple sources. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in a technology or start-up setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Experience presenting to senior executives a plus Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize tasks and focus on delivering the most impactful outcomes. Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
