Additional information is available at:Our Burlington - Burlington Stores Inc. **Our Internship Program** Our internship program is a starting point for a career journey at Burlington and here is a sneak peek at what you can expect: + A 10-week summer program working out of our Corporate headquarters where you'll contribute to the expanding People Analytics center of excellence that supports the enterprise with key insights about the associate experience. + Direct mentorship from an experienced People Analytics professional who will be your "buddy" for support and guidance throughout your program journey. + A hybrid work model that will require the ability to be on-site a minimum of two days every other week at our corporate headquarters in Burlington, NJ. To complement your experience, there will be additional expectations to complete Store and DC visits with the team. **Our Day in the Life of a People Analytics Intern** Throughout the internship experience you will have opportunities to learn about the business, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop leadership skills. You'll partner across HR and the business to identify key business challenges, identify trends and patterns, and help develop approaches to solving those challenges through data analysis and exploration. You'll participate in meetings, build project requirements and support project goals. You'll collect and analyze data to identify root causes and support the development of key insights and recommendations. Your hands-on experience will involve planning and executing various projects and activities like: + Developing and optimizing HR dashboards and reports + Building PowerPoints to provide insights on key HR KPIs, HR program effectiveness, and survey feedback + Developing predictive models to forecast associate outcomes (i.e. turnover) + Conducting text analysis and analyzing associate sentiment + Leveraging forecasting methods for workforce planning + Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across people analytics activities **Our People Analytics Interns** + Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with an emphasis on data-oriented functions (Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a similarly related field) + Graduating with a Bachelor's degree between December 2025 and June 2026 + Experience with machine learning / statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques (decision trees, regression, cluster analysis, structural equation modeling) + Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI) + Course work and experience using querying languages (SQL), scripting languages or statistical software (SPSS, R, etc.) + Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs with proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions + Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders + Proven ability to work independently and think critically with high attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity + A self-starter who takes initiative with a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and courage to always be a student of the business With our office located in New Jersey, reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation. **Our Compensation and Benefits** + An hourly pay of $21 per hour + An associate discount for in-store purchases + Professional development opportunities for long-term career growth.
