Overview The People and Culture team at Gallagher Bassett (GB) is looking for a stand out People and Culture Coordinator to support the team. This permanent role, based in Brisbane, will be tasked with providing various levels of administrative support across the People and Culture Team. How you'll make an impact Assist in the contract development and onboarding/offboarding processes Maintenance and management of the HRIS system (Oracle), uploading documentation and reporting on key HR metrics. Preparing documentation and managing the full employee life cycle (contract generation, variations, personal documentation, employee terminations) Supporting and coordinating the onboarding experience for new employees Collating various statistics and people reports Employee termination management including conducting exit interviews Management of general queries and assisting with employee engagement programs Supporting the P&C team in the development and execution of projects Assist with developing communication material for initiatives and programs and interacting with numerous stakeholders within and external to our business About you We are looking for a positive, curious and friendly team player with a keen interest in building a career in the HR field. You will support the teams in their day-to-day operations and will understand the corporate environments and know how to navigate and ask questions to develop your knowledge. Other skills and experience include; Previous administration experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or Business Administration advantageous Self-motivation, the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Ability to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of our People administration tasks Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook Strong administrative skills, with high attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and solid relationships Enthusiastic, resilient, and driven to provide exceptional customer service A good sense of humour – we like to have a laugh What we can offer you This is a rare opportunity to get in at the entry level for an HR position.
