Role description: Support to a Strategic People Business Partner to deliver the cultural and people component within a GBA by supporting the development and implementation of people programs aligned with GBA and country strategic objectives. The role will partner with business managers on strategic priorities and provide front line advisory on people initiatives and programs to deliver strategic people or business solutions. As a member of the Business Partnering People team and part of the relevant Global Business Area (GBA) or Enabling function, the People Business Partner will establish trusted and influential relationships with management teams to deliver strategic people priorities and provide front line advisory on people initiatives and programs with a strategic people or business impact. They will collaborate with other business partners and people services teams to support the delivery of the total employee experience within a geographic area. The role will support the Strategic People Business Partner to build an inclusive high performing organization, in line with the strategic people and culture direction.

Workforce solution leader
Support the Strategic People Business Partner to develop and execute strategic and inclusive People programs and initiatives, working and collaborating closely with People Services to ensure they are deployed in a pragmatic way. Advise, coach and challenge management teams on workforce performance, providing front line support and coaching in the areas of talent, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness and change management. Work with managers, Business Partners, COE and People Services colleagues to deliver people priorities that align with the experience we want to create for our people and support the design and delivery of related People function policies, processes and programs. Support and champion standardization of ERP set up in line with the global approach. Develop for the future – assist in the execution of strategic workforce planning across the GBA and participate in selection/ promotion decisions to ensure that people we enhance diversity of thought and have the necessary skills and understanding to deliver the team's objective. Plan, forecast, coordinate, and broker people and culture activities (oversee delivery by calling upon the services of others) for business managers. Engage with and challenge managers on agreed strategic organizational and capability issues that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business and deliver an excellent employee experience on the moments that matter for the GBA workforce. Bring proactive business insights to the People team, and people insight to the business to drive innovations and make data driven people decisions in partnership with People Analytics team. Taking a more holistic view of the business to provide feedback on People policies, processes and programs. Facilitate discussions around change and transformation Support Strategic People Business Partner to deliver all annual People processes and programs such as GPS, talent reviews, salary review within the GBA in collaboration with People services and COE leads. Work to improve the effectiveness of people metrics in their GBA, aiming to increase retention and engagement ensuring we fulfill our ambitions to be a diverse and inclusive employer. Give feedback to People Services by suggesting improvements in the efficiency and quality of people services support. Support the delivery of high-level change programmes, which align to business objectives and strategic direction of the business area. Work with Employee Relations team (where available) to support management of high-risk complex case work providing commercially sound advice whilst minimising impact to the business.Leadership Talent Coach
Advise, coach and challenge managers on the development and deployment of inclusive talent needs and solutions. Support organizational design activities and ensure people implications are understood and appropriately managed. Work with the TM COE and managers to identify and develop diverse talent and ensure we create as many careers defining experiences as possible for all our people e.g. learning resources, peer to peer learning, mentoring, job shadowing, projects etc. Engage with the business to build a sustainable future for Arcadis through capability building aligned to strategy and GBA-specific capability needs. Provide leadership, advice, and services across multiple locations to enhance the effectiveness of the workforce through identification of key people needs and management support, coaching and development. Provide development for managers on how to facilitate team reviews, setting goals and measuring results and how to have regular and human conversations.Culture Champion
Build and strengthen our culture by advocating the organizational values, our purpose and challenge managers on their accountability for the right behaviors. Support relevant leaders, managers, and employees to embed inclusive mindsets and practices in all that we do. Work with the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging leader to deliver interventions to raise awareness, encourage open and honest conversations and allow our people to be themselves at work. Support the Strategic People Business Partner to advance positive culture change (e.g., establishing role models, system changes, training, communication) based on a data- driven insights in culture. Play a key role in (GBA) People BP network and take an active role on group wide People projects as agreed with the CPO. Role Model the Arcadis Way in the GBA. Act as a visible steward of health and safety and ensuring familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines. Qualifications & Experience:The candidate should have an academic degree (preferably in human resources) and experience in business partnering roles. They should have broad experience and understand the complexity of executing people strategy.
Further the candidate should have experience of project business and driving change and transformation.
Other required experience and competencies for this role:
Having a broad knowledge of all major components of People related functions, employee/labor relations, management of change, diversity and Inclusion, compensation, benefits and Talent development. A progressive, non-bureaucratic approach with experience in the latest P&C trends but in practical terms – not just a theory. Experience in working in a matrixed organization preferably in an international setting. As well as experience in a similar role where you need to balance global/local needs. Consulting agility, with experience in independently using Microsoft programs (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Power BI) as well as using data analytics to align HR solutions with business imperatives and ability to work in an agile way. Business Fluency with financial acumen and operations knowledge, with a focus on business outcomes. Acts with integrity, impartiality and independence, balancing personal, organization and legal parameters. Stakeholder management and the maturity to deal with senior business managers. This includes being confident in hearing strong management opinions, ability to influence to better outcomes and at times even challenging their decisions. High level communication skills strong consulting, coaching and presentation skills, with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others. Digital acumen and the completion of Expedition DNA base camp. The ability to make quick, sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment. An understanding and appreciation of the marketing, communication and presentation skills required to facilitate projects and initiatives.
