People Business Partner

About the Role:

Bluevine is looking for a People Business Partner to partner closely with leadership to drive business outcomes and foster employee engagement. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle including but not limited to working with the business to open and plan for new roles, employee relations, annual performance and merit cycles, etc. The ideal candidate will be hands on but can also act strategically to offer solutions for their dedicated business lines and coverage areas. 

What You'll Do:

Provide support and feedback to client groups and consult with managers at all levels in areas of performance management, management training and coaching, organizational development, and employee relations.  Quickly identifies business needs; develops and presents solutions to senior leaders to help drive results in the organization. Demonstrates ownership to develop and drive People programs and processes from start to finish that align with Bluevine goals and values. Deliver meaningful results to the client group/s concise and timely. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues through effective and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and labor laws. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.  Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Collaborate with COEs and internal partners such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, Legal etc. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning to support the business strategy.

What We Look For:

5+ years of relevant, progressive experience as an HR/People Business Partner or Advisory role Bachelors degree preferred, other relevant experience will be considered Experience in a variety of HR competency areas such as leadership development, change management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational design Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with fluid information and a changing working environment  Effective and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally Ability to solve complex problems; resourceful and takes initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving Strong EQ, problem-solving skills, and demonstrates sound, consistent, trusted judgement Experience with different HRIS systems and a solid understanding of key HR processes Comfortable with high volume and a fast-paced workload; not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to complete more tactical work. Able to switch between strategic and tactical work daily. HR certifications, nice to have

New Hire Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $134,700
This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
