Summary: The P&C Business Partner works closely with assigned business unit leaders to ensure that human resource efforts and outcomes meet business needs. Supports the strategic plan and company mission, vision, and core values, under the guidance of the HR Manager. This role serves as a liaison between employees/managers of a division and the corporate human resources function. The HRBP will be assigned specific roles within the scope of HR support and areas of responsibility and is also expected to influence and coach other HR Operations team members in the completion of their duties and in supporting the needs of the individuals and departments. Recommends and supports the development and execution of programs, policies, and activities established to benefit the employee-employer relationship. Provides general-level expertise and counsel to management and employees in all areas of Human Resources. Requirements: + Builds trusting relationships throughout the company by spending time with business leaders and learning the critical challenges to growing the business. + Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. + Coaches, counsels, and trains all managers and employees on company policies/procedures, organizational development training programs, career development, employee relations, and all other training programs. + Consults with business unit leadership, providing HR expertise, including organizational design, workforce planning, performance, and change management. + Assists in recruiting activities such as job description creation and ensures complete compensation analysis. May participate in interviewing candidates for client groups. + Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. + Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. + Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures. + Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. + Demonstrates ethics and integrity through self-accountability, compliance in all areas of Human Resource functionality, and sound policy application. + Optimizes and executes work processes in a broad range of all areas within human resources. + Ensures compliance with all government and company HR policies and procedures. + Ensures standards for all HR-related processes are executed to maximize efficiency. + Completes individually assigned development and strategic initiatives. + Supports multiple client service groups. + Serves as the "go-to" face of HR to employees and managers within the assigned group(s) and primary liaison & single point of contact (the funnel) to other essential HR functions, including compensation, benefits, and recruiting personnel. Safety: + Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant discipline is required. + Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP, SHRMSCP, PHR, SPHR is preferred. + 5+ years of relevant HR experience with increasing responsibility is required. + 2+ years of demonstrated HR generalist or business partner background with planning, development, implementation, facilitation, and review of a variety of HR initiatives to deliver solutions to clients is required. + Ability to travel 5-15%. + Working knowledge of employment law and Human Resources best practices. + Advanced communication, problem-solving, investigations, employee relations, relationship building, influencing, and coaching/advising skills. + Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Experience in conducting training and presentations to all levels of employees. + Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in HR management systems. + Basic understanding of immigration law and practices. + Works independently and makes sound decisions without input from upper management. + Action-oriented takes the initiative and influences change. + Possesses strategic thinking and flexibility to function in a fast-paced and innovative + environment. + Functional competencies include prioritization, building strategic partnerships, agility, ethics & integrity, and business acumen. Anticipated base salary range: $94,000 - $110,000 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
