Your New Role

The People & Culture Partner, Coordinator will support the Streaming People & Culture team as well as the business by assisting in the development and execution of P&C initiatives that ensure Warner bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice, providing solutions to employee-related matters, and assisting with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, etc. This position relies heavily on the use of Excel and Workday. This position will be located in New York.

The People & Culture Partner, Coordinator will be a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of People & Culture initiatives. In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as a partner to the business and a liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced creative environment, bringing an energy and enthusiasm to the function, founded in sound strategy. 

Your Role Accountabilities

Support the Streaming People & Culture team by providing project coordination and assisting in the implementation of corporate programs, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, performance management, change management initiatives, etc.Handle routine inquiries, correspondences, and departmental administration for the Streaming People & Culture teamWork with data and metrics, using Excel and WorkdayHandle on-boarding and off-boarding process for all employees (full-time, temporary and intern)Coordinate with external temporary agenciesCreate presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as neededServe as a People &Culture point of contact, intake information/requests from employees and managers, and assist the Streaming People & Culture team to resolve in a proactive and positive mannerApply and communicate company policiesDevelop strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions (including Recruitment, Learning & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits) to provide ‘seamless’ support and guidance to the business

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Human ResourcesCollaborative working styleGenuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn, grow and developThrives in a fast-paced and challenging environmentStrong in communicating with others and builds strong relationships with colleagues and employeesGood judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employeesExceptional attention to detail, strong organization and project management skillsHigh level of proficiency with Excel formulas, formatting, pivot tables and other analytical functionsWorking knowledge of compensation and benefits practicesExperience in working with a culturally diverse workforceKnowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,209.00 - $78,389.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
