What you will doThe HR department at Volvo CE Braås consists of four People & Culture Partners, one HR administrator, and one HR manager. The HR department's mission is to advise and support our management teams and managers in all HR-related matters that drive the company's results. We are now looking for an People & Culture Partner.
As an People & Culture Partner, you will primarily work with our staff departments, where Product Development, Technology, is the largest, consisting of about 150 employees at Volvo CE Braås. You will also be part of Technology's global HR network and sit on the local management team. Your role is to actively contribute to translating strategies and goals for the departments within your area of responsibility into concrete HR activities and ensuring they are delivered in the business. You will be a Business Partner in matters concerning recruitment, talent supply, proactive health promotion, rehabilitation, and applicable laws, policies, and procedures, as well as contribute to establishing work processes that ensure quality and follow-up. You will also participate in and lead union negotiations. As an HR Business Partner, you have a significant responsibility to act professionally and service-oriented both internally and externally. With an open and close collaboration with other HR departments within Volvo, you will contribute to the company's efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Act as a coach to managers in HR-related matters and in the company's change work.
Lead the annual salary review for salaried employees.
Assist and support managers in various talent supply issues at both operational and strategic levels.
Provide support in rehabilitation and psychosocial matters and work on developing methods and tools for increased attendance in collaboration with occupational health services.
Inform and advise on laws, agreements, and assist with support and lead union negotiations.
Participate in or drive improvement teams/projects in matters that fall within the HR area.
Actively participate and contribute to the development and improvement of the HR department and the company's work with continuous improvements.
Actively work on diversity issues.
We are looking for someone who has:
A university degree in HR. At least 5 years of experience in qualified operational and strategic HR work. Experience in strategic and operational HR support for salaried companies. Experience in recruitment. An understanding of how a business operates and the ability to translate how HR can contribute to achieving business goals. A coaching approach and experience in coaching. Knowledge and experience in labor law. Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
Experience in driving and implementing salary reviews, including job evaluations/IPE, is a merit. In addition to your previous knowledge and experience, we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. You should be proactive, comfortable working independently, and flexible based on current circumstances. You should have the ability to build relationships and networks and collaborate with managers at various levels.
