This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.



Department Description:


The People & Engagement team within California Sales & Account Management works to create and foster an organizational environment within California Sales & Account Management that values inclusion, development, diversity and growth opportunities for all employees. 


We support employee retention and career growth by creating a positive learning culture, promoting effective coaching, and providing effective training.


The department also promotes employee engagement within California Sales & Account Management by seeking to continuously improve the employee experience in response to their input.


Intern Project(s):


This individual will be supporting the development of e-learning solutions for the employees within sales and account management. This may include the creation of new content, or the modification of existing content into a self-directed e-learning that would be available on demand. They may also manage communications on these efforts to those affected as well as the program sponsors. 



Target Majors:


Human Resources; Education



Target Skills:


Desired skills would include experience and proficiency in using Articulate Rise 360 to create training content. Other essential skills would include effective communication, relationship building, analytical thinking, and problem solving. The ability to self-direct and be resourceful would be an asset. A background or major in human resources, learning & development, organizational development or similar would be preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
Report development and analytics.
Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
Job shadowing in other functional areas.
Performing additional duties as required.

Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year. Bachelors degree required. License, Certification, Registration N/A Additional Requirements:
Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications:
3.0 GPA or aboveAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
