ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
The People Generalist supports the Labor Relations and Operations Team, the People Business Partner team, Regional People Partners, and other relevant stakeholders. This role is a temporary position to cover maternity leave and is pivotal in delivering administrative assistance and executing tactical tasks. It requires a proactive and adaptable approach, primarily offering support across various HR functions. Attention to detail and effective communication with employees are essential for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a highly accessible shared service, collaborating with all areas of HR and internal stakeholders. Deliver professional HR support to employees and managers, covering various HR-related topics such as employee relations, terms and conditions, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, absence management, and policy compliance. Maintain and organize documentation of all HR standard operating procedures. Review and update employment contracts based on regulatory or internal changes. Follow up on the completion of performance evaluations and individual development plans. Manage local employee personnel files, ensuring both physical and digital records are accurate and up-to-date. Support in internal and external audits: Prepare employee documentation and assist with responses to auditor requests. Use Oracle HR systems to maintain precise employee data. Coordinate and oversee attendance records, leaves, vacations, and absences. Carry out purchase orders and manage invoices within the appropriate system.SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
Formal education in HR and prior experience working in HR teams as an HR Generalist. At least 2 years of direct experience in HR administration and operational processes in a dynamic work environment. Proven expertise as an HR Generalist, Coordinator, or Administrator preferred. Resourcefulness, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. Experience within a large organization with specific knowledge of the Spanish employment market. Prior Oracle experience (preferred). High attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR processes and documentation. A collaborative and results-driven approach. Language skills: Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
