Job Description:

Salad and Go is seeking a People Generalist

Position Summary:   A People Generalist- Central Kitchen, is an integral part of the People Team serving on the front line of our Central Kitchen to ensure the values and culture of Salad and Go are being carried out.  This role is responsible for supporting individual and team development, recruiting, hiring, retention, employee relations and keeping a pulse on the company culture. 

The People Generalist has the following primary responsibilities:

Performs routine tasks required to administer and implement human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Oversees the recruiting and hiring efforts – assist walk-in job applicants, phone screens, interviews, job offers, and onboarding.

Partners with hiring leaders, and People Business Partners to understand current and upcoming recruiting needs

Constant communication with the HRBP for updates on staffing needs, training, terminations, transitions, and other HR related items.

Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Conducts new hire orientations and partners with the training and safety teams for assigned department specific training.

Assists with planning and execution of benefits enrollment and other company meetings.

Collaborates and participates with department leadership in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Partners with department manager to ensure efficient communication and constant development of the teams.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

3-5 years human resource experience, manufacturing preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Bilingual-Spanish and English

Excellent written/oral communications skills.

Has strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
