Complete Description:

 

The Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is undertaking a project to convert the legacy Federal Police Pension and Payroll System (PAPS) to PeopleSoft HCM Payroll version 9.0.   OCTO is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Conversion Analyst/Developer consultant to serve on the Project Team. The consultant will be responsible for delivering at minimum, the following activities and deliverables:

 

•          Meet with Functional Lead, PAPS Legacy Technical Lead and relevant Subject Matter Experts to review information regarding current PAPS legacy system (source for data conversion) and business processes

 

•          Perform and document data analysis

 

•          Perform and document data mapping between PAPS legacy system and PeopleSoft HCM

 

•          Document Functional and Data Conversion Requirements including data sources, types of data

 

•          Identify and document the most efficient and cost effective approach to data conversion, the level of effort to perform the conversion and the resources to convert the data

 

•          Develop programs and tools to perform data extraction from PAPS legacy system and staging data for conversion

 

•          Perform data cleansing, data testing and data loading activities

 

•          Create test files and prepare test cases with expected results

 

•          Run batch test jobs and review test output and if necessary program corrections and re-test

 

•          Identify data errors,, error correction for inconsistencies, missing data, alignment of data conversion and bridging

 

•          Plan and execute data conversion

 

•          Identify data that falls out and document solution to resolve data fail out issues

 

•          Reconcile and balance converted data, with acceptable tolerances

 

Skills:

PeopleSoft Integration and Conversion Experience
