Complete Description:
The Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is undertaking a project to convert the legacy Federal Police Pension and Payroll System (PAPS) to PeopleSoft HCM Payroll version 9.0. OCTO is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Payroll SME consultant to serve on the Project Team. The consultant will be responsible for delivering at minimum, the following activities and deliverables:
• Document Business Requirements
• Participate in Fit-Gap Analysis
• Assess relative fit of business requirements and processes against OCTO PeopleSoft HCM configured solution and determine gaps that require resolution
• Determine viable alternatives for resolving gap (redesign business process, manual workarounds)
• Document best alternative (include cost/benefit trade off, issues, risks, process improvement, change control process)
• Identify/Confirm Process Re-designs, Data Conversion Strategy, Interfaces, and Reporting
• Document solution design and processes to meet business requirements for prototyping and testing
• Develop Prototype and unit test
• Develop testing requirements, test scenarios/scripts, logs and results, document / resolve issues
• Develop training requirements
• Conduct Walkthrough(s)/Conference Room Pilots with relevant Subject Matter Experts
• Finalize process designs prior to Development Phase
