SCOPE OF SERVICES:
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Systems Analyst to support the PeopleTools upgrade within the HR Payroll group. The objective of this project is to upgrade the PeopleTools engine to version 8.60 (patch 11) from the current version 8.59 (patch 09). This upgrade is essential to ensure system support from Oracle, enhance system security, introduce new features, and improve overall performance.
The Senior PeopleSoft Systems Analyst will play a key role in executing this upgrade, ensuring that all existing modules within RET-NYCAPS are successfully transitioned to the new version and can leverage the latest capabilities. The project will follow a traditional waterfall model, progressing through fit-gap analysis, design, construction/retrofits, testing, and implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upgrade & System Support
+ Perform fit-gap analysis to assess system requirements for the PeopleTools upgrade.
+ Execute upgrade scripts, configure system settings, and retrofit existing code as needed.
+ Conduct unit and regression testing for all associated components, including integration web services, interfaces, and reports.
+ Ensure system stability and security compliance throughout the upgrade process.
Technical Implementation & Development
+ Work with PeopleSoft 8.x/9.x (v. 9.2 preferred) for HR and Benefits Administration modules.
+ Develop and maintain PeopleSoft interfaces into legacy and third-party systems.
+ Utilize PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Application Designer, and SQL Developer to support system enhancements.
+ Work extensively with Integration Broker (App Messaging) to ensure smooth system communications.
Risk Management & Compliance
+ Address potential vulnerabilities related to application instability, data loss, and security threats.
+ Ensure system compliance with Oracle support guidelines to maintain continuous technical support.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve PeopleSoft HCM database issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory requirements will not be considered.
+ Extensive experience with PeopleSoft 8.x/9.x, including HR and Benefits Administration modules.
+ Minimum five (5) full-lifecycle PeopleSoft HR and/or Benefits Administration implementations.
+ Strong experience with PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Application Designer, and SQL Developer.
+ Experience working with Integration Broker (App Messaging).
+ Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft interface development for legacy and third-party systems.
+ Excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Database models and SDLC methodologies.
+ Prior experience in large-scale enterprise-wide PeopleSoft implementations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present complex processes.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
+ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Technical, or Business Discipline.
+ Strong experience documenting HR and Benefits processes.
+ Experience with GIS tools and map integration.
+ Knowledge of Wireless/Mobile/Disconnected architecture applications.
+ Prior experience with government projects at the federal, state, or local level.
