**Job Summary**
The Pepsi Campus Ambassador role provides a unique, hands-on opportunity for a student to
engage directly with campus departments, PepsiCo, and community events. This is not a role
where products are delivered to you to distribute at your convenience. Instead, you’ll actively
collaborate with business entities such as the Pepsi Bottler, Dining Services, and various campus
groups (e.g., Student Life, Athletics, Campus Store, Auxiliary Services) to create and implement
marketing and activation plans throughout the school year. Your goal is to drive engagement
with Pepsi brands through campus events and activities.
You will report directly to Auxiliary Business Development Services representatives, with a
dotted line to the local Pepsi Key Account Manager, and participate in monthly meetings to
review event outcomes and discuss future plans.
**Responsibilities**
* Event Management: Plan and lead partner events, including marketing activities,
tailgates, and campus engagement. This includes setting up and taking down event
spaces, with some heavy lifting required. Ensure smooth execution, positive attendee
interactions, and a clean event space.
* Product Knowledge & Communication: Maintain a strong understanding of Pepsi
products and communicate effectively with event attendees, answering questions and
promoting brand values.
* Marketing Participation: Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, team meetings,
and proof-of-performance reports.
* Donation & Sponsorship Support: Assist with donation and sponsorship requests by
working closely with the Pepsi Key Account Manager, Auxiliary Business Development
team, and requesters.
* Asset Management: Maintain Pepsi’s physical assets (event trailer, coolers, tabling gear)
in good, clean working order. Oversee
**Minimum Qualifications**
* University of Utah Student: Must be currently enrolled and progressing toward a
degree.
* Driver’s License: Required for operating fleet vehicles and golf carts.
* Independent & Team-Oriented: Able to follow directions, work independently, and
collaborate effectively.
* Drink/Food Handling: Able to distribute samples, food, and drinks ( ABD covers the
cost of a food handler’s card if needed).
* Physical Capability: Able to lift and move heavy items such as inflatables, tents,
product cases, and event equipment and to work in all weather conditions.
* Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable engaging with event attendees.
* Punctuality & Communication: Must be punctual and have strong communication
skills.
* Flexibility: Must be available for events during evenings and weekends.
* Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail.
**Preferences**
* Preference may be given to students enrolled in majors such as Business Administration,
Management, Marketing, Communications, Tourism/Hospitality Management, and
Public Relations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
