Make an Impact! The Per Diem, Perfusionist performs functions necessary for the support, treatment, measurement, or supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system of the adult patient. The perfusionist is a skilled person, qualified by academic and clinical education, who operates extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to support or replace the patient’s cardiopulmonary/circulatory function and ensures the proper management of physiologic functions by monitoring the necessary variables. Shift: Days

Experience:
1. Recent experience in all aspects of cardiovascular perfusion preferred.
2. New graduates will be considered.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in a physical science from an accredited institution or graduation from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.

Licensures/Certifications:

·       Current PA Perfusionist License or PA License Eligible

·       Current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or American Board of

·       Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification eligible.

·       Certification by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within two years of start date

·       PA licensure required within two years of start date
