**Job Title: Per Diem Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Welder to join our team for the Ship to Shore Connector program. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding 3mm and 10mm plates, including mirror welding, and must have relevant experience in this field. **Responsibilities** + Perform welding tasks on the Ship to Shore Connector program. + Weld 3mm and 10mm plates using MIG and TIG welding techniques. + Conduct mirror welding as required. + Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to complete welding tasks. + Apply shop mathematics to ensure precise and accurate welding. **Essential Skills** + Three plus years of related experience in MIG and TIG aluminum welding. + Proficiency in aluminum welding. + Experience in MIG welding. + Experience in TIG welding. + Ability to read blueprints and sketches. + Strong shop mathematics skills. + Demonstrated welding skills based on welding test results. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Formal craft training is preferred. + Experience in mirror welding is preferred but not required. + Having both MIG and TIG welding experience is preferred. **Work Environment** This position operates in an outdoor covered production/shop environment.
