Recruitment/Posting Title Per Diem-Clinical Assistant Professor Department NJMS-Anesthesiology Salary Hourly Rate Posting Summary The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, seeks a qualified General Anesthesiologist for a Per Diem position as Clinical Assistant Professor, Non-Tenure Track. Duties include on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at The Stone Center of New Jersey and work collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively. The selected candidate is expected to participate fully, in all activities of the Department of Anesthesiology, to the satisfaction of the Department Chair. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed below:• Provide on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at the Stone Center, Newark, NJ;• Participate in various divisional/departmental/institutional initiatives and activities;• Participate in Faculty Development and skill/knowledge acquisition activities;• All medical records must be completed in accordance with NJMS and hospital policies including the completion of all medical records within 7 days of the date of service;• Complete Medicare time studies or such other documents required for documenting services under the program and for documenting services as outlined in this letter; and• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chair.The Rutgers NJMS is an Equal opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer.
