Job Responsibilities: + Scheduling procedures: Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures based on physician availability, patient needs, and facility capacity. + Patient communication: Provide detailed pre-operative instructions to patients, address concerns, and answer questions about the surgical process. + Insurance verification: Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for surgical procedures. \ + Medical record management: Collect and maintain accurate patient medical records, including pre-operative testing results and relevant documentation. + Equipment and supply management: Ensure availability of required surgical equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures. + Liaison with medical team: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, management and other healthcare professionals to coordinate surgical schedules and patient care. -Post-operative follow-up: Coordinate post-operative appointments and provide patients with necessary instructions for recovery.
