The Per Diem Nurse within Patient Placement coordinates multi-facility elective or urgent admissions and transfers within the UCLA Health System, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Business Systems/designee. This position requires excellent communication skills in collaborating with, referring, and accepting Physicians, Executive Management, Patient and Guest Services and hospital support systems. You will develop expertise in working with the automated UCLA CareConnect EPIC EHR bed management system. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively in the organization with management and Nursing leadership to create a systematic approach to bed management that creates a positive patient experience as well as develop a working relationship with the lead staffer and assist in prospective staffing needs based on scheduled as well as anticipated needs for each service.   Salary: $87.47 – $87.47 Hourly

This is a part-time “as needed” per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career.
