Responsibilities

The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. He or she will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards

 

Job Title: Per Diem RN II Medical Imaging/Radiology

Location: Springwoods Village, Cypress FM1960, Main Campus, Memorial Villages, North Houston Campus

Department: Radio - Administration

Job Type: Per Diem 

Salary Range: $49.99 - $50.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of an approved RN nursing program

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Experience

Required: Minimum 3 years RN experience

Preferred: Experience in a medical imaging setting/center

License(s)

Required: Current and valid RN license

Preferred: Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging

Special Skills

Required: Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. CPR, 

 

oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. 

 

CRT experience

Preferred: Windows computer experience, RIS experience

Other 

Required: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Current BLS through American Heart Associ

 

Minimum 8 shift per month

 

4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to summer holidays and 2 shifts related to 

 

winter holidays.

Preferred: ACLS
