Position Summary:


The primary function of the Simulation Operations Associate (SOA) is to support the delivery of an on-site or off-site simulation activity. The Simulation Operations Associate reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties as assigned.Set up for programs: space, equipment and software.Breakdown for programs: space, equipment and software.Welcome and support programs; acknowledge by greeting faculty; introduce by telling faculty your first and last name; explain support for the program and contact method for the duration of the program.Escalate to leadership as necessary (i.e. issues, concerns, faculty questions, feedback).Maintain equipment as per Standard Operating Procedure.Maintain rooms as per Standard Operating Procedure.Maintain inventory as per Standard Operating Procedure.Open facilities as per Standard Operating Procedure.Close facilities as per Standard Operating Procedure.Participate in relevant internal and external meetings.Educate faculty on equipment and space utilization and software as needed and appropriate.Ensure safe and appropriate use of center resources (space, equipment and software).Integrate strategic goals into daily activities.Maintain proficiency in existing and emerging technologies through the guidance of peers and leadership.Adhere to NYSIM Policy & Procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:


To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree and two to three years relevant experience. Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills. Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse population and as a part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:


Previous work experience in healthcare.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $30.00 - $30.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
