Performance Engineer - Early Career - Orlando, FL
**Description:** Join the System Performance Branch as a Performance Analysis Engineer, working under the System of Delivery Team \(SOD\) and with Modeling and Simulation \(M&S\) team\. This engineer will be required to Implement Test Scenarios on a pipeline, Implement Analyst for telemetry verification of requirements, Enhance Plotting Tools\. The engineer will work with the Modeling and Simulation \(M&S\) team to identify and drive left of launch IFS capability with automation in mind for SW verification\. Work with the M&S Team on HIL Automation in the pipeline and define submission criteria, work with M&S Team on enhancing Scene Generation automation\. Key Responsibilities: • Implement test scenarios and telemetry verification on a pipeline • Enhance plotting tools and drive automation for SW verification • Collaborate with M&S team on HIL automation, scene generation, and submission criteria **Basic Qualifications:** • MATLAB/SIMULINK experience • Experience with SW and System level testing • Experience in C\+\+, Python, Bash • Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Development \(CI/CD\), Micro\-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code **Desired Skills:** • Experience with model\-based software development using Cameo • Experience modeling missile platforms as well as understanding missile hardware and avionics • Experience applying discrete or Monte Carlo simulations • Experience in a programming language like C\+\+, Ada • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Batch, Powershell • Experience with development in modern IDE such as VS Code • Experience in development in a Dev Ops environment using Git \(Gitlab, GitHub\) • Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software • Experience applying discrete or Monte Carlo simulations **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\.
