You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook. **Responsibilities** **Job Summary** The primary function of the Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program Manager is to support coordinate and facilitate the performance improvement (PI) risk management patient safety and regulatory/accreditation compliance activities for the hospital and medical staff. + This role also serves as a resource to employees management nursing directors senior management councils physicians and PI teams. + This role will handle private patient and highly sensitive information ensuring absolute protection and confidentiality of all hospital-related matters. **Qualifications** **Experience** + One (1) year healthcare-related performance improvement or patient safety/risk management experience (e.g. chart audits PI team member etc.) and three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care setting. **Education** + Bachelors Degree at a minimum in a healthcare-related field. **Licensure** + Current state license in a clinical field in state of practice + Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Healthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) within 2 years of employment is required.CPHQ **Pay Range** $42.69 - $61.91 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
