This role is crucial in shaping a high-performance culture, driving the competency framework, and ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven strategies that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities + Own the full performance management cycle for all associates, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. + Manage key phases of the process including goal-setting, continuous feedback, mid-year reviews, and year-end performance evaluations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure consistent execution of performance management practices. + Support implementation and maturity of comprehensive competency frameworks that support career development and drive organizational growth. + Align competency frameworks with business objectives, ensuring they promote desired behaviors, skills, and outcomes. + Leverage prior experience with Korn Ferry competencies or similar frameworks to tailor solutions that foster employee growth and organizational performance. + Strategically lead the optimization of performance management systems and processes to enhance organizational performance. + Work closely with senior leaders to refine existing processes, promoting increased efficiency, accountability, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. + Drive initiatives to advance the organization’s performance maturity and ensure alignment with long-term objectives. + Lead efforts to promote a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence. Education + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Required Skills & Experience + 7 years or more experience in performance management, talent management, or a related HR function. + Strong proficiency in HR and performance management systems and tools. + Experience in analyzing people data and building strategies based on insights. + Proven ability to drive and implement competencies within an organization. + Experience in taking performance management techniques from conception to full adoption. + Ability to review and analyze performance data, identify trends, and build performance strategies based on insights. + Deep understanding of goal-setting, writing goals, and managing the goal lifecycle process. + Familiarity with or experience working with Korn Ferry competencies is desirable. + Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. + Demonstrated expertise in creating and delivering compelling presentations. + Strong understanding of talent management principles and practices (preferred). + Demonstrated expertise in change management with the ability to lead and manage organizational changes that affect performance systems and culture (preferred). Working Conditions + Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting. + Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer. + National travel required (up to 10%). + This position has a Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities. + Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace.
