Performance Marketing Manager

Responsible for developing, defining, and deploying Jack in the Box’s performance marketing efforts, with the ultimate goal of driving sales, and increasing customer engagement and retention across digital and social platforms.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the digital creative and campaign strategy, marketing communications strategy, and execution of marketing campaigns on Jack in the Box’s growth channels, owning all aspects of campaign set up, optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting, with a sustained focus on efficiency and scalability.

• Develops consistent testing metrics with creative and media agency partners to optimize and measure the performance of growth marketing campaigns throughout the customer journey (e.g., ad creative, ad placement, conversion forms, post-conversion relationship, A/B and multivariate testing).

• Collaborates with agency partners to synthesize insights into the marketing strategy and produce performance marketing reports and executive summaries on a regular basis, integrating results of growth marketing campaigns, including recommendations for improvement, budget allocation, and relevant insights for future campaigns.

• Acts as point of contact for all growth marketing campaigns, including creative and media agencies, DGX stakeholders, and Marketing Communications team members.

• Plans and carries out paid social media activities at regional level, inclusive of content strategy, briefing, media flighting, creative approvals, project/timeline management, implementation, post-campaign analysis.

• Manages timelines, tasks and budget within project(s) scope and successfully leads cross-functional teams to execute social & digital growth marketing projects. Review applicable marketing team deliverables.

• Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Advertising, Marketing or related field.

Experience - 4+ years of related experience in Social/Digital Media Management or comparable online marketing. Communications, Marketing, or a mix of some varied experience with a strong understanding of social media platforms, and the communication skills necessary to reach targeted audiences is necessary. Food industry experience a plus but not required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, the internet, technical usage, social trends and participants engagement (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Yelp, Google Locations, etc.)

• Experience managing large budgets against growth KPIs

• Understanding of conversion metrics

• Knowledge of the Digital & Social Media ecosystem relevant to the Company field

• Solid understanding of digital content within communications and marketing disciplines

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, project management skills, and the ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels

• Demonstrated ability to effectively write and edit social media copy

• Detail oriented and organized

• Proficient knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior


Physical Requirements – Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone/video call. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Ability to travel up to 10%-15% of the time for agency meetings and photo shoots, as needed.

The range for this position is $87,800 - $123,000 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
