Trimble Transportation is looking for a dynamic marketing operations professional to join our marketing team. This senior-level position is responsible for architecting the future of marketing operations, while optimizing the performance of the existing marketing technology. The Performance Marketing Operations Manager is a critical part of Trimble’s Transportation Marketing team reporting to the Director of Revenue Marketing. 

As the Performance Marketing Operations Manager, you will ensure that Trimble Transportation runs an efficient, data-driven, and process-oriented marketing operations function. You will oversee the day-to-day management of our marketing tech stack and database, own strategy and execution of our marketing automation platform Marketo, and deliver marketing performance reporting and analysis. You'll work closely with marketing team members, sales operations, and key functional heads to drive initiatives that achieve overall demand generation and revenue goals. Standard assets and campaigns will be delegated to marketing managers and campaign operations, while complex MAP infrastructure and more advanced campaign programmatic functions will be built or closely monitored by this role.

What You Will Do

Oversee Marketo as a subject matter expert and establish architecture governance for efficient, scalable, and best-in-class marketing programs and campaigns

Own lead-lifecycle data from capture to sales routing, ensuring campaign attribution touches and lead stages are tracked and align with our lead management framework

Implement and optimize lead/account scoring and nurturing to ensure the highest quality leads and accounts are prioritized appropriately for qualification

Develop and maintain audience lists and contact lists ensuring data hygiene, and empowering customer and prospect communication

Develop and implement marketing automation processes and best practices and assist with the integration and onboarding of new technology

Manage, troubleshoot, and QA full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs and campaigns with considerable impact across multiple organizations

Optimize email deliverability and ensure emails are compliant following industry policies, CAN-SPAM regulations, and best practices to adhere to email marketing and deliverability standards

Manage and track policies and processes related to Data Protection to ensure operational compliance with global regulations

Contribute to defining performance metrics to support transparent monitoring, continuous improvement, and stakeholder reporting

Remain current on Marketo and Martech best practices and tools that drive higher performance and optimization, including continuing education, user groups, and conference attendance

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring

Experience in a B2B and/or SaaS company environment recommended

Bachelor's degree in marketing, technical discipline, business, information science, data science, or applicable experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Marketing Automation Operations or related technology role

Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives

Innovative, motivated, organized team player 

Great communication and collaboration skills

People management experience is a plus

Requirements:

Advanced proficiency with Marketo; Marketo Certification (MCE) required

Experience with legacy MAP systems and transitions including Hubspot, Oracle, and Pardot (certifications recommended)

HTML knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic HTML errors with a focus on emails and landing pages

Advanced knowledge of email deliverability and email best practices

Ability to work with campaign managers and sales to identify, troubleshoot and remediate any marketing automation issues

Strong project management skills and ability to work on many projects simultaneously

Experience with various marketing technology platforms (ie. Drift, Digesto, Uberflip, Zoom, Workato) and their connection to systems owned by marketing (Marketo) and other business units (ie. Salesforce.com, DOMO)
