Qualitest is looking for a Performance Test Lead to join our growing team. The position is remote in the US (PST).

1) Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter & Blazemeter)
2) exp leading perf testing projects (communication is key)

 

Job Description:

More than 7 years experience in performance testing. Should have good working experience in jMeter and Blazemeter tool. Should be able to communicate with clients. Should have good experience in leading a small team and guide other team members. Performance test planning and design: Identify performance requirements and metrics (response time, throughput, resource utilization). Develop test strategies/plans and scenarios based on user behavior and expected load. Create workload model for test execution. Create detailed test scripts and data sets for performance testing. Test execution and monitoring: Set up test environments and configure performance testing tools. Execute performance tests like load testing, stress testing, soak testing, and spike testing. Monitor system performance metrics during test execution (CPU usage, memory utilization, network bandwidth). Analysis and reporting: Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Generate comprehensive performance test reports with detailed insights and recommendations. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot performance issues and implement fixes. Performance optimization: Work with developers to optimize code and database queries to enhance application performance. Suggest architectural changes or scaling solutions to improve system scalability.

 

Technical skills:

Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) Understanding of programming languages (Java, .NET) Knowledge of database concepts and performance tuning techniques Familiarity with network protocols and monitoring tools

 

Soft skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development and QA teams Ability to interpret complex performance data and present findings effectively Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $130,000 - $145,000.
