Description:  Client is is seeking candidates for Performance Test position in Dallas, TX on a 6 month project.
• 5+ years of experience in LoadRunner's Web (http/html & AJAX), Web Services & Database protocols. 
• Creation and execution of load and performance tests based on customer workflow scenarios using Load Runner. 
• Good hands-on experience in customizing and troubleshooting scripts on VuGen NOT record & Playback of scripts. 
• Capture dynamic data at run time. 
• Code modification incorporating control statements (looping, condition evaluation, etc.) 
• Use of LoadRunner Service & Utility functions, ANSI C functions knowledge of setting parameter values for a given situation. 
• Error handling 
• Thorough understanding of Run-Time settings and Recording options. 
• Understanding of common errors encountered during load and performance testing. 
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Requirements Traceability knowledge/experience. 
• Experience leading performance testing projects and providing direction to testers and supporting team members. 
• Must have good client facing skills. 
• Must have good communication skills. 
• Test plan / Test case creation and execution 
• Defect tracking. 
Nice to Have: 
• Experience in working with Ajax TruClient & Flex protocols. 
• Installation and configuration of LoadRunner Controller, Load Generator & Analysis. 
• Scenario construction and execution using LoadRunner Controller. 
• Ramp-up strategy. 
• Sitescope monitoring. 
• Understanding of the default report sand graphs. 
• Creating additional reports and graphs. 
• Merging & Filtering graphs. 
• Analysis Template creation and application 
• Analysis report generation 
• Previous experience in Airline Industry strongly desired. 
Required: 
• Performance Center administration background. 
• Good understanding of HP diagnostics instrumentation. 
• Protocol Web, Web Services, Java, RMI. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects. 
• Good communication skills, able to present things to Senior Manager and Directors. 
Tools/Technical Skills: 
• ALM / HP Quality Center, SQL, MS Office Suite. 
• Testing team is looking for someone who can come and talk about different testing tools which would blend well with Agile process. 
• Demonstrate thought leadership within the specialist discipline through problem solving, leadership, consulting and/or production of technical assets.
• Fulfill role as point of contact for technical queries and support within expert discipline. 
• Identify inadequacies and improvement opportunities in the methods/standards and recommends changes. 
• Stay current on established tools, techniques, and technologies.
