Manages the equipment and supply maintenance
Preparation of cardiopulmonary bypass
Performs those functions necessary for the support treatment measurement and/or supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and/or circulatory system of the patient.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $59.08 - $94.53 HourlyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Perfusion required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: No experience required. Pediatric and VAD experience preferred.
Licensure: Certified to practice as a Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion; if new grad certified within four exam offerings and within 24 months of hire date. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, climbing (ladder, steps) and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, fumes, heat, noise, cold, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
