Discover a rewarding career at AJH, where you can make a meaningful impact within a close-knit community while advancing your professional growth within a thriving healthcare system._ **_Are you ready to become a part of our Perioperative dynamic team?_** Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Assists with moving, positioning, lifting and prepping patients. + Assists the surgical team with room turn over. + Coordinates and participates in the cleaning of the operating rooms ensuring minimal delay between surgical procedures. + Delivers orders and stocks and maintains supplies for the surgical suite. + Maintains a clean and safe environment. + Performs the daily biologicals following standards and documents all pertinent information legibly and accurately. + Helps the anesthesia department when needed. + Demonstrates telephone etiquette; must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail. + Assists Anesthesia with supplies and cleaning of equipment as needed. + Assists with the orientation and development of new staff members. + Maintains temperature logbooks. + Refers safety and patient concerns quickly, accurately and objectively to the charge nurse/Clinical Manager. + Performs biologic testing of the sterilizers in coordination with the Central Sterile department daily. + Applies age specific concepts during patient care. + Demonstrates knowledge in low level disinfection upon cleaning of equipment and turnover methodology of operating room suites. **Scheduled Hours:** 40 hr/wk **Work Shift:** M - F 6am - 2pm **Education Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent. **Licenses/Certification Requirements:** BLS **Benefits working at Anna Jaques Hospital:** + Tuition Reimbursement + Career Development and Opportunities + Free On-Site Parking + Discounts/Savings on various businesses. + Health and Wellness activities **Apply today and learn more!** **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
