**Job Context:**
The Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Network Services Perimeter and Business-to-Business (B2B) team analyzes internally published network and security standards to design, implement, and validate cost effective, secure, and resilient networks for internal and external clients globally.
**Job Purpose:**
This position is to gather scope, design, implement, and test campus and data center perimeter infrastructure and B2B connectivity for many clients and franchises. The work involves doing research, analyzing the current setup, solutioning to meet business requirements, understanding which network products fulfill those requirements, and producing documentation of the network configurations as well as raising change controls and implementing on the production network without interrupting services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Work with the businesses to understand the applications and network requirements.
• Perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services
• Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks
• Provide technical/strategic direction to team members
• Produce complex project design documents with detailed network configurations, implementation plans, and test plans based on published network standards and guidelines.
• Present design documents to governance teams for peer review and change controls.
• Oversee the deployment of hardware and configuration on the corporate data network.
• Change implementation occurs out of business hours, depending on the published greenzones for affected business devices which could be weeknights or weekends.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Managers, local business representatives and stakeholders providing timely updates to ensure successful delivery of the projects.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Ensure that all project management systems are updated to reflect project status and current forecasted time to deliver the solution.
• Ensure that the solution meets the business objectives and follows organizational processes and standards.
• Manage a number of projects all at different stages of the project lifecycle.
**Knowledge/Experience:**
• At least 5 years network design engineering or architecture experience.
• Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
• Delivered network designs and implemented solutions using large-scale enterprise products.
• Professional understanding of Cisco & Arista network router & switching technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of typical investment/retail banking environments or equivalent (major ISP, systems integrator, or global enterprise).
• Working knowledge of co-location facility operations desired.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for network automation desired.
• Cloud network certifications, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud desired.
• Experience with ServiceNow desired.
• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
**Skills:**
• Professional level communication skills with global stakeholders.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Understanding of interoperability between network and security products from multiple vendors: Cisco, Arista, Juniper, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP.
• Knowledge of Data Center networks, LAN and WAN solutions
• Professional application, network, and security troubleshooting skills.
• Professional experience with IP, IPSEC, NAT, VPN, VXLANs, and B2B connectivity.
• Experience with Multicast in a Cisco environment.
• Proficient with Excel and Visio.

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
