Under the general direction of the Director of Surgical Services, this position is responsible for assuring accurate OpTime data integrity and surgical charging in the perioperative areas. Responsible for functional design, implementation, training, and support for Perioperative applications. Will perform review and ongoing maintenance of supply and preference card input and maintenance, patient charge management, inputting patient data, and will be responsible for compiling statistics for management reports. Participates in system projects and ensures quality support for system issues.   Annual Salary Range: $76,835.20 - $113,339.20   Qualifications Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing. Experience: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in the perioperative areas and preferred two (2) years of experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Prefer supply chain management knowledge or experience. Certification/Licensure: Must possess a current, valid Arizona or other compact state RN license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must possess a thorough understanding of an integrated clinical system. Must have highly developed interpersonal and project management skills. Demonstrated expertise and knowledge typically gained through work in perioperative services as a registered nurse or related education and experience required. Must possess good organizational skills and be able to prioritize several projects with minimal supervision. Effective human relations and communication skills are required in interfacing with nursing staff and medical staff. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in difficult situations, setting priorities and maintaining highly confidential information. The ability to utilize word processing and spreadsheets is required. Must have experience with troubleshooting computer applications and providing user support and education. Mathematical ability to maintain accurate statistical records and gather data is required. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
