We are seeking a **Permit Coordinator** to join our team in **Sacramento, CA** . **The Role**
+ Expertly manage the full lifecycle of permit applications, from submission through approval, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
+ Build and maintain strategic relationships with municipal authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders
+ Drive project success through effective coordination of permit timelines, fee processing, and documentation management
+ Conduct comprehensive map and plan reviews to ensure alignment with permit specifications
+ Oversee permit-related financial operations, including budget tracking and deposit management
+ Lead pre-construction coordination and PG&E power supply submission processes
+ Provide strategic onsite support for permit requirement assessments
+ Maintain detailed tracking and reporting systems for all permit activities
+ Deliver timely project updates and maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders
+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation (6+ hours daily)
+ Extended use of computer equipment, including desktop or laptop computer, mouse, and keyboard
+ Regular use of telephone and/or headset
+ May be required to work outside normal hours for urgent permit matters or deadline-driven projects
Requirements
+ 2+ years of experience in permit coordination or similar role
+ Experience in construction or utilities permitting preferred
+ Experience with P2 software systems a plus
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities
+ Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
+ Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - especially with MS Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas)
+ Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
