About this RoleFiberTel is hiring an experienced Permit Specialist for our Springville, UT office.
The Permit Specialist will assist the Engineering Department in preparing and submitting permit packages to municipalities, counties, and public works departments. He/she will track the progress of permit applications and ensure they are moving through the proper process. This position will coordinate with engineers regarding construction scope of work as well as working with our construciton department to schedule dates and permit requirements.
What You'll DoResponsibilities:
Prepare and coordinate necessary applications, fees, and signatures required for submittal
Process, track and follow-up throughout the permitting process
Work closely with engineering department
Answer various questions regarding building permits and what is necessary to obtain one
Maintain positive relationships with municipalities customers
File blueprints, permits, drawings, and other project documents
Provide permit status updates to custoemrs and/or engineering and construction departments
Provide general customer support as needed
Maintain, retrieve, and organize data
Prepare reports relating to permits
