Permitting Coordinator

**_Essential Functions_**
+ Maintain municipality/city requirements in branch area, including updating licensing.
+ Schedule and/or coordinate inspections by municipalities.
+ Maintain working relationships with the municipality departments such as fire departments and building zoning departments.
+ Apply for electrical permits, renewals and cancellations.
+ Coordinate research of permit expiration and violations.
+ Follow up and send mailers with non-responsive customers.
+ Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
+ Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
+ Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.

+ Have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English.
+ Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English.
**Qualifications - External**
**_Education, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements_**
+ Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.
+ Minimum of three years of applicable, hands-on experience.
+ Must possess good decision-making skills, be very organized and detail oriented.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication.
+ Ability to use discretion. Problem Solving and ability to escalate matters when needed.
+ Data analysis and interpretation skills.
+ Speed and accuracy with attention to detail.
+ Dispatching and scheduling.
**_Physical Demands_**
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and twist; use hands and arms to reach, handle, push, pull or feel; speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
+ The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
+ Must be able to drive a motor vehicle while seated for extended periods, and be able to drive at night

**_Work Environment_**
+ Normal office environment.
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
**Pay and Benefits Disclosure**
The budgeted pay range for this role as of November 2024 is $22.21 - $27.76 an hour. This range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to tenure, previous experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic considerations.
