Permitting Specialist

Actively seeking a permitting coordinator in the Dallas area. The candidate will be responsible for organizing, creating, and maintaining documents for a variety of projects. This role involves creating documents and presentations for clients based on specific project updates and timelines, gathering data for projects, and relaying key information to the engineering team. The candidate will also help identify potential problem areas when reviewing project scopes, assist in project coding and invoicing as needed, pull permitting documents from counties where project lines fall, and file and keep all documents pertaining to projects.

ResponsibilitiesCreate documents and presentations for clients based on specific project updates and timelines.Gather data for projects and relay key information to the engineering team.Identify potential problem areas when reviewing project scopes.Assist in project coding and invoicing as needed.Pull permitting documents from counties in which project lines fall.File and keep all documents pertaining to projects.Essential SkillsExperience working as a permitting specialist or in document controls.Experience in power utility projects.Experience with permitting, land planning, and project administration.Familiarity with utility distribution, construction, project management, and data entry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with large energy projects for electric utilities, power generation owners, and industrial clients.Work Environment

This office will be a combination of designer engineers and design techs supporting distribution projects. The open environment promotes teamwork and collaboration, with team members working in groups on various projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
