Role Description:
The Marketing Manager’s mission is to drive business results by triggering the right responses amongst our target audiences with tailored, effective marketing activities centered on audience insights.
This exciting and varied role sits at the heart of LoopNet’s marketing operation. Our marketing managers perform the vital function of creating marketing plans design to help the business reach its ambitious goals – and then coordinating the resources of the department to bring those plans to life.
LoopNet has a variety of target audiences. Commercial property owners, tenants, brokers and buyers all come to us when they are in the market to buy, sell, or lease commercial real estate. Our mission is to raise awareness and positive sentiment towards LoopNet as the leading commercial real estate marketplace, and to grow our business by matching the right audience cohorts to the right solutions we have to offer them.
As a Marketing Manager, you will spend your time developing insights into our target audiences, understanding what makes them tick and devising marketing tactics which leverage those insights to help us achieve our goals.
You’ll participate in audience analysis, review focus groups and survey results, delve into analytics as well as our wealth of proprietary industry data. You’ll spend time with business stakeholders understanding our north-star objectives, and the strategies we’re deploying to achieve them. And you’ll work with colleagues in marketing to come up with marketing plans which effectively address our target audiences and trigger the right response – whether that’s to absorb brand messaging, visit and search our website, or become a paying customer through our sales team.
Alongside this analysis and planning, you’ll also devise messaging, come up with ideas for marketing content, and collaborate on creative execution. And once that’s all done, you’ll also work with our data team to analyze results and understand the impact of the campaign.
The position will be active and highly varied. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a pacy, energetic environment and exudes positivity, calm and a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing the target audience through sources like client interviews, focus groups, surveys, campaign and market data. Documenting audience insights and the evidence supporting them. Creating marketing plans which intersect business objectives and audience insights. Working with stakeholders to refine plans and ensure alignment. Taking approved plans and working with the rest of the marketing department to bring them to life through exceptional copy, content, advertising creative, messaging, experiences and more. Reviewing campaign performance data and adjusting the approach based on what’s working and what isn’t.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit college or universityA track record of commitment to prior employersExperience in a similar marketing position where your insights-led planning delivered robust marketing campaigns with demonstrable business impactExperience of B2B marketing, ideally at a marketplaces business, advertising services provider, or technology companyReal estate industry knowledge or experience, while not essential, would be a major advantage Analytical skills – able to see trends and interpret data to draw conclusions which have a real-life business application Planning – consider the details of marketing plans and how they will become practical reality Written communication – accurate, compelling copywriting is a must in this position Organization – well organized, diligent and structured in way of working and communicating with others Team play – happiest when collaborating and working in a team assembled from a range of stakeholders and contributors Goal-oriented – focused on the end result and dedicated to reaching it through a series of well-thought-out stepsWhat’s in it for you?
