The Personal Care Aide (PCA)/ Med Tech is responsible forn the day-to-day care of residents which includes ADLS, IADLS, light housekeeping, and assisting residents with medication abiding to Personal Care Regulations. The PCA/Med Tech would: + Communicate courteously and effectively with residen + Perform assignments of resident care as directed by supervisor. + Transport residents to and from activities, meals, church services, hairdresser, etc. + Demonstrate the” Five Rights” of giving medication. + Demonstrate proper documentation on MAR including missed dose, PRN medication and discontinued medication. + Demonstrate how to use record glucose testing prescribed by the physician. + Properly store medication in cart locked clean, and organized. + Daily count narcotics on every shift with PCA who is relieving you. + Perform other duties as required.
