Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Looking for an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant for a prominent Philadelphia catastrophic personal injury plaintiff law firm. Knowledge of the Philadelphia court rules and filing procedures is a must.

Responsibilities include:

Summarizing medical recordsDrafting discovery requests and responses E-filing and service of pleadings, motions and all court documentsConducting legal researchAssisting with trial preparationMaintaining organized and indexed filesGathering medical records , organization of records to download, and indexingInteraction with experts and sending docs for review

Skills Needed:

Proven working experience as a Paralegal/Legal AssistantPhiladelphia knowledge of motions, discovery, documentation, court rules proceduresHighly organized with ability to juggle deadlinesExtensive knowledge of service proceduresStrong communication skills, and attention to detailExtensive computer expertiseCase management system knowledge
