The Account Manager II is accountable for delivering excellent and efficient service through day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts. The Account Manager II has a direct impact on agency success by achieving client retention goals, effectively and consistently ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, trust, respect and teamwork while focusing on continuous improvement. The position will serve as a mentor to AM I, provides direction to AMAs and support Account Executives and Producers. The AM II uses discretion and judgement in determining coverage needs for clients and in carrier and client negotiations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes and builds customer and carrier relationships through responding to client coverage inquiries, reviewing contracts and agreements for insurance coverage compliance and addressing coverage issuesCollaborates with Account Executives and Producers in policy review and delivery, and ways to improve client service, and providing renewal information in accordance with renewal timelinesRemarket renewals with carriers to include gathering information and reviewing applications and submissions for accuracy and completenessProvides support in identifying client insurance needs, gaps in coverage and loss exposure, recommends appropriate insurance coverage, binds coverage and manages timely production and delivery of renewal policiesFosters an environment of innovation, engages in proactive problem solving with AE and Producers and clientsContacts assigned Account Management clients regarding outstanding receivablesREQUIREMENTS:
