Personal Lines Assistant
Job Description Seeking a Technical Assistant to join our Florida Personal Lines team. This is an entry-level position with an excellent opportunity to advance in the insurance industry and grow your career. The selected employee will assist the Personal Lines team in policy processing, carrier communications, and internal reporting in accordance with the practices, standards, and procedures of the company. Hard Skills + Processing policy renewals + Reconciliation of various internal reports + Managing carrier communications + Lender endorsements + Processing policy cancellations + Data entry Soft Skills + Administrative Support - Support an Account Manager, keeping up with their accounts and files + Clerical - Work closely with AM and the carriers to ensure policy changes are confirmed + Filing - Digital filing, must be very organized Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Tampa, Florida. Work Environment During the contract period, this person will need to work in the office M-F from 8am-5pm. Upon receiving their 2-20 license, the candidate can work remotely on Tues and Thurs. HUB International will reimburse the cost of a license if they want to get one while they are a contractor. If someone wants to work in the office each day, they do not need to be licensed. If they want to work hybrid, they need to be licensed. If they want to wait until they are full-time to get licensed, HUB will pay for them to get licensed. The work schedule is M-F 8:30 AM - 5 PM with an hour lunch, totaling a 37.5-hour work week.
