$13 per hour + $30 commission

• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) • Certified Personal Trainer
• American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) • Certified Personal Trainer
• American Council on Exercise (ACE) • Personal Trainer Certification
• National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) • Certified Personal Trainer
• Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS)
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Participates in continuing education program

Key Responsibilities
• Design safe and effective programs.
• Guides members through initial and progressive sessions.
• Ensure proper, up-to-date, and safe procedures are used during instruction.
• Inspects all apparatus and areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Performs light custodial duties such as wipes down equipment before/after use.
• Enforces all rules and regulations politely and professionally.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Schedules ongoing training sessions with members and maximizes personal book of business.
• Works closely with Fitness Management

Education Level:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:
• Personal Training experience minimum 2 years.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.

Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends & holidays as needed to support the business.

Compensation:
$13 per hour with additional $30 per hour commission.
