Position Summary
Develops exercise programs and orients clientele on proper use of equipment. Provides motivation and supervision through exercise routines for private clientele and/or small groups. Provides assistance to ensure exercise safety. May or may not perform fitness assessments.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1.
Trains client following accepted departmental procedures with regards to appropriate exercise selection depending on health risk assessment, safety on equipment usage, settings, client form and cleaning, etc. to promote a safe workout program and proper hygiene.

Exhibits professional time-management skills to ensure the scheduled training sessions are executed on time to guarantee a seamless flow for allotted client times.
3.
Performs quality training sessions which result in client satisfaction and positive outcomes.
4.
Demonstrates imagination and enthusiasm in providing clients with interesting and exciting training sessions.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Adult Fitness, or related field AND/OR certification from an accredited agency for Personal Training or Exercise Specialist as Recognized by Medical Fitness Association and NCCA.
