RiverTech is looking for a Personnel Security Assistant III to provide administrative security services in accordance with the relevant Executive Orders (EOs), U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and the policies, orders and guiding directives. This is a hybrid role with in-office requirement so selected hire will reside in the DC/MD/VA area.
Responsibilities
Provide Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) support to conduct Scattered Castles checks
Maintain personnel security files for all CISA Federal employees, contractors, private sector employees, detailees and interns
Prepares written documentation in support of the personnel security mission such as internal standard operating procedures, reports, training and instructional materials, and briefings
Manage operations that request additional information or documentation as needed to support data analysis
Provide timely responses to inquiries regarding personnel security processes
Provide status of background investigations
Verify clearance levels and self-reported security information
Manage operations that accurately elevate, enter and update data into relevant internal and external systems and databases with strong attention to detail
Serves as a contractor employee team lead
Qualifications
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required
Minimum High School Diploma/GED
Must have 3 years of personnel security experience
Proven experience providing administrative security support
Must have excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, etc., excellent written and oral communication, risk-management and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands:
