The Personnel Security Clerk is responsible for performing Security Administrative Services supporting the BEP Eastern Currency Facility (ECF). Compensation: $40.87/hourly Duty Hours: 0800-1630, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) Why Join Chenega? CGP employees will work closely with BEP employees in the Office of Security providing support of the ECF’s badging, access control, emergency operations, personnel security, and industrial security operations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Background Check Process: Initiate and manage the background check process. e-QIP Processing: Handle the processing of e-QIP applications. Fingerprinting: Obtain fingerprints and access various systems to gather reports and relevant information for suitability and security adjudications. Administrative Support: Perform a variety of technical, research, and administrative activities supporting the personnel security program. Background Investigations: Conduct background investigations (T2, T2R, T3, T3R, T4, T4R, T5, T5R) for public trust and national security positions. Review and Adjudication: Review and adjudicate completed Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and BEP investigations to determine suitability for employment. Security Operations Support: Work closely with BEP employees in the Office of Security to support badging, access control, emergency operations, personnel security, and industrial security operations. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance. Education: Graduate of an accredited High School diploma or possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clerical or related position. Background Check: Must be able to pass a Background Check and be in good financial standing.
