The Pest Control Quality Inspector provides oversight of Pest Control Technicians applying pesticide and herbicide products.
Responsibilities
Oversees herbicide/pesticide applicators (who possess an applicator license) in performing structural pest control, animal control, mosquito and weed abatement
Prioritizes, assigns and schedules job tasks, and adjusts schedules as necessary in response to season workloads.
Oversees work activities and reviews work to ensure it is performed safely, on-time, and according to established procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks
Provides applicators instruction and training in the area of safe and proper use of equipment and chemicals
Serves as an informational and technical resource regarding pest control
Reports merits of usage to local, state and federal authorities as required
Work with Government personnel to resolve quality issues concerning contract support services, maintain effective working relationship with customers
Qualifications
Missisisppi Commercial Pesticide License
Mississippi Commercial Herbicide License
Valid Driver's License
Three to five years of experience in a commercial pest control business
